Let me tell you about a little place. Some place warm. Where the beer flows like wine. Where the invertebrates flock like the salmon of Capastrano. I’m talking about a little place called Worm City.
Welcome to Wormshington, the greatest city in North Wormerica. Starting November 10th, citizens of Wormshington will be able to participate in the launch of Worm City: Season 1. We will be introduced to local worm celebrities like James Bullworm, a crypto trader just trying to make it in a worm eat worm world. Residents will also get to meet that pesky Judge Davis, whose only mission is to investigate Bullworm’s alleged embezzlements.
This type of backstory is the worms knees! Original characters living in the same universe as our randomly generated NFTs with 4,300+ attributes to be combined together. And as the story and seasons progress, we will see more of James, as well as, being introduced to new worms ready to get their name out there and cement their place in worm history.
One of my favorite aspects of this project is the election of the Mayor. The first Collector to attain 14 NFTs that meet certain requirements, will earn the ultimate title, the Mayor of Wormshington. And with all the responsibility, comes all the rewards. We all know the best part of politics is the money, so the Mayor will take their share of secondary sales, allowing them to finally build that Worm mansion. Additionally, their character will be highlighted in upcoming projects, as well as, gaining early access to limited merchandise.
And if you’re looking for a little bit more, holders can also expect a game in the not-too-distant future. Players will be able to customize their Worms and compete against other users for token rewards and ultimate bragging rights. The Roadmap has also mentioned a community prize pool, as well as, a Worm Breeding system, which rounds out a really promising project.
So, pack your worm bags. Set your worm GPS. Worm City it is.
